1861 - Future Phi Gam Henry S. Lane (Wabash initiate) is elected by the legislature to the U.S. Senate after two days as governor of Indiana.
1889 - Founder S. B. Wilson (Jefferson 1848) passes ad astra. (The History of Phi Gamma Delta, Tomos Alpha pp. 146-150)
1908 - Alpha Kappa Alpha sorority founded.
1913 - Brothers at Columbia avert disaster by extinguishing a chimney fire at their chapter house.
1932 - Delta Chapter of Alpha Gamma Upsilon installed at General Motors Institute, now Kettering University; in 1964 it becomes Alpha Gamma of Phi Gamma Delta.
1965 - Delta Gamma Chapter installed at Emory University.
1992 - Delta Colony established at University of California San Diego; it would later become Chi Lambda Chapter.
